- Complete your profile with portfolio, bio, and specialties
- Set your pricing and availability
- Wait for admin approval (typically 24-48 hours)
- Start receiving booking requests
Profile Standards
- Use a professional profile photo
- Upload at least 4 portfolio samples showcasing your best work
- Write an accurate and compelling bio
- List your genuine skills and experience
- Keep your availability calendar up to date
Booking Expectations
- Respond to booking requests within 24 hours
- Only accept bookings you can fulfil
- Communicate clearly about deliverables and timelines
- Deliver work as agreed in the booking terms
- Maintain professionalism in all client interactions
Commission: BookMyShot charges a platform fee on each booking. The exact rate is displayed in your creator dashboard. This covers platform maintenance, payment processing, and customer support.
Quality Standards
- Deliver high-quality work that matches your portfolio standard
- Meet agreed deadlines — communicate early if delays occur
- Do not use stock photos or others' work in your portfolio
- Maintain consistent quality across all bookings
Prohibited Behaviour
- Taking payments outside the platform to avoid commission
- Misleading clients about your skills or availability
- Ghosting clients after accepting bookings
- Using fake reviews or inflated ratings
- Creating multiple accounts
Account Standing
Creators who consistently meet standards receive benefits like Featured status, priority in search results, and badge recognition. Poor behaviour (cancellations, late delivery, disputes) may result in warnings, suspension, or account removal.
